Kristjan Bragason elected as new general secretary in EFFAT

New general secretary in EFFAT and new general secretary in Nordic Union

Today at the EFFAT Congress Kristjan Bragason was selected as new general secretary after Harald Wiedenhofer who is retiring.

The new general secretary of the Nordic Union is Jens-Petter Hagen who will take over from Kristjan.

At the congress all the general secretaries of Nordic Union where represented:

From the right: Aage Jensen who was retired in 2014, Jens-Petter Hagen new general secretary of Nordic Union and Kristjan Bragason who’s now leaving the office in Copenhagen to take over in Bruxelles.

Information

The Nordic Union for Hotel, Restaurant, Catering and Tourism sector, is an association of unions in Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark, all of which unionise workers of the HRCT industry. The member unions have all made collective agreements with employers organizations and companies in the NU HRCT.

All in all NU HRCT covers seven unions with a total of about 115,000 members.
